When you become a member of BAFIA you are joining a community of forestry enthusiasts who are working collectively to promote education and awareness of our local forest industry and boosting our sector’s profile in the local area. 

BAFIA holds an annual general meeting (AGM) in Bancroft featuring guest speakers who have a strong connection to the local forest industry. The AGM provides attendees an opportunity to share and voice any concerns about what is happening in the forestry world, along with guest speakers and local forestry professionals providing updates on new projects and developments in and around Hastings County. We like to keep it positive and enjoyable, so we often have musical entertainment after our AGM and dinner. We encourage people in and outside of the Bancroft community to get involved.
